To ensure we can provide you with the best service, please review and follow these guidelines:
Access to Property:
- Gates and locks: If you have requested a text message reminder the day before we clean your windows, please remember to leave your gate unlocked following your text reminder. If your gate is normally locked, kindly provide us with a gate key or combination code to access the property required to clean your windows.
- Safety Policy: For safety reasons, our team does not climb gates, garages or fences to gain access to the rear of your property.
- Windows: Please have your windows closed while we are cleaning them.
- Access: Please ensure paths and areas required for window cleaning are clear and free of any pet mess. There is no price reduction for windows unable to be cleaned due to poor access.
Payment Terms:
- Payment Schedule: Payments are due upon completion of each service.
- Go Cardless: If you have signed up to the automated payment system, the payment will be requested once your windows have been cleaned.
- One off cleans: Payment maybe requested upfront for any one off cleans.
- Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional fees, interest and claims costs.
Cancellation Policy:
- Rescheduling: We will do our best to accommodate your preferred reschedule date job depending.
- Skipping cleans: Please note if you skip a clean, the following clean may incur an extra charge.
- Notice Period: To cancel from our round, please provide at least 24 hours' notice before your next clean is due.
Builders cleans.
Builders' Cleans: Scratch and damage Waiver.
MJF Window Cleaning is not liable for any damage incurred during builders' cleans. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Damage to glass previously covered by cement, which becomes apparent after cleaning.
- Burnt-in damage to glazing caused by power tools used in close proximity to windows.
- Scratches resulting from the transit of materials, equipment, or tools.
- Pre-existing scratches, chips, or cracks that become more visible after cleaning.
- Damage caused by embedded debris, such as tiny stones or metal fragments, that scratch the glass during the cleaning process.
- Chemical Reactions: Any adverse reactions between our cleaning solutions and construction materials.
- Surface Integrity: Disturbance to seals, edges, or coatings that may have been compromised during construction.
- Unseen Defects: Issues that were hidden or not visible before cleaning but became apparent after the service.
By agreeing to our services, you acknowledge and accept these conditions. We always strive to deliver the highest quality of service, but builders cleans can involve inherent risks due to the nature of construction environments that window cleaning is not party to.
